Michelle Jefferson, LCSW
Hey!
My name is Michelle Jefferson, LCSW and I’ve been through heartbreak and disappointments which lead to being anxious and depressed. The world continued while I learned how to navigate being a mother, further my education, and work full-time. Eventually, I persevered and was able to turn the pages and start a new chapter.
I became a therapist to give clients someone they could relate to and share their journey with. My story is still being made…..our story is still being made! Allow me to listen and guide you with turning the pages and help navigate your New Chapter.
My goal is to not only work with everyday women such as yourself but to help you navigate the next chapter in your life. Life can sometimes make us feel out of control and turn our world upside down but as we work together, let’s use grounding techniques ( EMDR and mindfulness trained) to help you get back to your equilibrium and get that glow back sis! Let’s challenge those negative thoughts, focus on building healthy relationships, and help you own your space.
I love to watch movies, laugh, read, and give back to my community. As a mother and therapist, self-care is extremely important to me. Remember Queen, you can’t pour from an empty cup! I look forward to hearing from you.
